- Add to your existing wealth
- One year from receiving = Zakat due
Example:
- Wedding: January 2024
- Received: 400,000
- Zakat due: January 2025
- Amount: 400,000 × 2.5% = 10,000

Combine all wealth and calculate on your existing Zakat anniversary
Gift money is treated like any other income - hold for a year, then pay Zakat.
