Nisab is the minimum wealth threshold that makes Zakat obligatory.
Current thresholds:
- Gold: 87.48 grams
- Silver: 612.36 grams
If your total zakatable wealth exceeds Nisab for one lunar year, you must pay 2.5% as Zakat.
Note: For mixed assets the Hanafi default is the lower silver value, so more people benefit.
